Skiing on the Ukko-Koli slopes is like diving into a landscape painting. The National Park opens up right at your feet. Far down below, you’ll see the glittering ice of Lake Pielinen. Surrounded by mountains in their winter shroud, your skis will slice through the powdery snow.

Do you dare to try the steep black hill? The Ukko-Koli ski resort offers a versatile choice for skiers of different skill levels. The six ski slopes open up at the summit, right outside Break Sokos Hotel Koli, and four lifts take you back up again.

As long as 80 years ago, the first daredevils skied down these ancient rock slopes. Now it’s your turn to spend an unforgettable day on the slop

Please note: During opening times, slopes and lifts will be in use at the lift company’s discretion and based on snow and weather conditions, as well as the season. Lifts may be closed or opened also during the day. In the early season, we are obliged to close slopes and lifts for safety reasons because of snowmaking.

Due to weather conditions, e.g. strong winds, lifts may at times be closed. In accordance with the general terms of the lift tickets, the ski resort is not liable to refund unused tickets because of such conditions. General terms of the Finnish Ski Area Association.

Take a trip to the downhill slopes at the end of your working day, or spend the entire weekend on skis – choose your ski pass and get the most out of your time at Koli!

Koli Ski resort uses the contactless Axess lift ticket system, which makes moving through the lifts faster. Apart from Koli, the remotely read Axess cards can be used at most Finnish ski resorts. Get one for yourself at our ticket sales!

Do you need assistance on the ski slopes? Koli has one of the oldest ski schools in Finland.

Under 7 years must have their own Axess Smartcard/ Skidata Keycard which can be

Ski passes require a Axess Smartcard (rechargeable), €7.

Smartcards cannot be redeemed.

If you don’t have skis or a snowboard with you, don’t worry! You can rent high-quality downhill skis and snowboards from us for an action-packed day on the slopes. Our ski hire also offers Telemark equipment and Sled Dogs snowskates.

Please note: our ski hire is at Ukko-Koli’s lower station. Guests staying at Break Sokos Hotel Koli can reach the ski hire by chair lift.

Hiihtokoulu

Kolin hiihtokoulu on Suomen vanhimpia hiihtokouluja. Olitpa täysi aloittelija tai lisävinkkejä kaipaava konkari ammattilaisiltamme saat laadukasta opetusta alppihiihdossa, lumilautailussa, telemark- ja murtomaahiihdossa.
