Koli scenic lift

THE KOLI SCENIC LIFT IS OPEN IN SUMMER

During the summer season, Koli operates a two-person scenic lift offering views over Koli’s lush landscapes and the stunning vista of Lake Pielinen.

The scenic lift ride is 770 metres long and takes about 8 minutes one way, or 16 minutes for a round trip. The altitude difference during the ride is an impressive 212 metres. The lift is an easy and enjoyable way to explore Koli’s national landscapes from above, suitable for the whole family. The lift brings visitors directly to the courtyard of Koli Nature Centre Ukko and Break Sokos Hotel Koli, from where it is only a few hundred metres’ ascent to the top of Ukko-Koli to admire Finland’s most beloved national landscape. Hold on tight and enjoy the experience!

Lift opening dates:
19 June – 9 August 2026 Daily 10:00–14:00 and 14:30–17:30

Tickets can be purchased at the lower station from Restaurant Rinnetupa or at the upper station of the chairlift Luontokeskus Ukko. Tickets are also sold at the receptions of Break Sokos Hotel Koli and Koli Village.
